Civilians did not use the trains that stopped here. The cars were full of SAM missles coming south from Red China. The entirerail yard, along with a considerable amount of rolling stock and supplies, were totally destroyed in the Linebacker II raids in December, 1972. Fifty-seven B-52 sorties (19 cells) dropped 2,371 bombs, and four F-4 sorties dropped 8 Laser Guided Bombs (LGB).
